  1. Premium Screened Rock Salt: HotRock StormGuard Ice & Snow Melt products contain the highest quality deep mined rock salt in the world and is screened to the perfect size for optimum flow and spreadability.

  2. Addition of Granular Ice Melting Chlorides: HotRock StormGuard Ice & Snow Melt products contain additional ice melting chlorides such as sodium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride blended with HotRock Rock Salt to maximize melting speed and to work at lower temperatures.

  3. Liquid Deicer Coating & Corrosion Inhibitor: Each crystal of HotRock StormGuard Ice & Snow Melt products are enhanced with a liquid blend of magnesium chloride and a corn derived organic deicer. The organic additive creates a residual melting effect and forms a barrier between surfaces reducing corrosion.
